Description:
A Russian Literature professor at the University of Havana is ordered to work as a translator for child victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, sent to Cuba for medical treatment. Torn from the abstract world of academia and forced into the harsh real world, Malin starts connecting with the sick kids. Then, the Berlin wall falls and Cuba enters the deepest economic crisis.
