Description:
For sixteen days each winter a vast frozen lake in the heart of North America becomes the epicenter of an ancient ritual. Brave hunters venture out on the windswept ice armed with seven foot spears. Their quarry is a prehistoric fish, the Giant Lake Sturgeon. These living fossils are virtually unchanged from their ancestors that lived 100 million years ago in the age of the dinosaurs.
