Kent Lippink's dead body was left on a hiking trail near the desolate town of Hope, Alaska. Found by utility workers, no physical evidence was found at the scene. What little evidence there was, and common sense, pointed towards girlfriend Mechele Hughes but not enough to bring her to trial. The fact that she worked as a stripper made the news of his murder more salacious.
