The cowpunk, country rock and rockabilly band known as The Beat Farmers were American and formed in San Diego, California, in August 1983. Their unique sound was performed as part of the 'Live From London' series although this show was recorded in LA and highlights why they enjoyed a cult following through the 80s / early 90s until the premature death of Dick Montana.
