Description:
Black-tailed prairie dog (Cynomys ludovicianus), is rather a squirrel than a dog. In fact, this is a rodent species from the family Sciuridae (that family including squirrels) and is found in the Great Plains of North America. In this short zoological video-portrait, there are two "prairie dogs", one hiding in the burrow, and one feeding. The first one is moving from one burrow to another one.
